For people with more than one Google account

All your calendars, working in tandem.

One agenda and one booking link across every Google account you work in, so a meeting in one never double-books you in another.

Free forever plan Google Calendar Beta: Pro free for 6+ months

The problem

Three calendars. One you.

Most people who work across organisations end up with a Google account for each. Every calendar is accurate on its own, and wrong about the rest of your day.

  • You get double-booked across accounts

A client books 2pm on your Northwind calendar. Your own company already had you in board prep. Neither calendar knew about the other.

  • Colleagues see you free when you aren't

Each organisation only sees its own calendar, so your afternoon looks wide open to everyone except you.

  • You send three different links

One scheduling link per account, each checking only its own calendar, and you still have to remember which one to send.

With Tandem

Your accounts stay separate. Your schedule doesn't.

Tandem connects to each Google account and treats them as one schedule. Nothing moves out of Google, and nobody at one organisation sees what you do at another.

  • One agenda that merges every account and flags clashes between them
  • One booking link that checks all your calendars before anyone books
  • Busy blocks copied to your other accounts, without the details

How it works

Set up in a few minutes

No new calendar to move into. Tandem works on top of the Google calendars you already have.

  1. Step 1: Connect your Google accounts

Sign in to each one with Google: personal Gmail, your company's Workspace, a client's. Tandem syncs them every 10 minutes, or whenever you press Sync now.

  2. Step 2: Choose what counts and set your hours

Your own calendars are on by default; colleagues' shared calendars start off. Set weekly hours, date overrides and holidays.

  3. Step 3: Share one link

Each event type books into the account you pick, with a Google Meet link, and only offers times that are free across all of them.

What you can do

Everything a scheduling tool does, across all your accounts

Each feature reads every calendar you've switched on, not just the one it's attached to.

One agenda for every account

See your whole day, from every account

A merged 14-day agenda in your time zone, refreshed every 10 minutes. Each event keeps its account's colour so you know where it came from.

  • An invite that lands on two of your calendars shows up once
  • Conflicts are flagged only when they span two or more accounts
  • Pick which calendars count; colleagues' shared calendars start off

Booking links

Your booking page lists event types grouped by account. Before anyone books, Tandem runs a fresh free/busy check against all your connected calendars.

  • Each event type books into the account you choose, with a Google Meet link
  • One-on-one or group events, several durations and custom questions
  • Buffers, minimum notice, daily limits, plus reschedule and cancel links

Availability

Hours that match how you actually work

Keep a schedule for each kind of work, and let Tandem handle the days that don't fit the pattern.

  • Named schedules with several time ranges in a day
  • Date-specific overrides for one-off changes
  • Public holidays by country and a time zone per schedule

One-off links and meeting polls

Hand-pick times, or let the group vote

For the meetings a standing link doesn't suit: a few chosen slots for one person, or a poll for a board or a deal team.

  • Pick times on a week grid that shows all your calendars at once
  • Share a one-time link, or run a poll and book the winning time
  • Optionally hold the proposed times; the holds are released once one is booked

Cross-posting

Busy everywhere, details in one place

Copy meetings from one account onto your others so every organisation sees when you're taken, and only one knows why.

  • Copy as Busy, a neutral placeholder or full details, per pair of accounts
  • Skip free, all-day or declined events, or exclude by keyword
  • Tandem only edits the copies it made, and removes them if you turn a rule off

Automations

Beta

The follow-through, handled

"When this happens, do this" workflows for the emails around a meeting, written once as templates.

  • Reminders before, thank-yous and follow-ups after
  • Resources on booking, reconfirmation requests and cancellation notices
  • Email templates with variables such as the invitee's name and meeting time

Email sending is being switched on during the beta.

Privacy

Confidential by default

If you sit on a board, advise a client or work on a deal, the people in one calendar shouldn't learn about the others. Tandem is built so they don't.

  • Busy, not the details

Cross-posted copies are private by default. Your other organisations see a Busy block, not the title, attendees or notes.

  • Only touches its own events

Tandem tags every event it creates, and only ever edits or deletes those. Everyone else's events are left alone.

  • Calendar metadata only

Times and titles for a rolling window, about a week back and two months ahead. Event descriptions aren't stored.

  • Encrypted access

Google access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. No ads, no selling data, no third-party analytics.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Which calendars does Tandem work with?
Google Calendar, both personal Gmail and Google Workspace accounts. Microsoft and Outlook calendars are coming soon.
What counts as an account?
Each Google account you connect. The Free plan includes two, which covers a personal Gmail plus one work account. Pro has no limit.
Can people at one organisation see my meetings at another?
No. Your booking page only shows open times, and cross-posted copies show as Busy unless you choose otherwise for a pair of accounts.
Will Tandem change my existing events?
No. Tandem only creates, edits or deletes events it made itself (bookings and cross-posted copies), and it tags each one so it can tell them apart.
Do I have to move my calendars into Tandem?
No. Your events stay in Google. Tandem reads them to build your agenda and availability, and writes new bookings straight into the right Google calendar.
What happens after the beta?
The Free plan stays free. If you join during the beta you get Pro free for at least 6 months, and payments aren't live yet, so there's nothing to pay today. See pricing for the plans.
