One-off links and polls

Offer a few good times, or let the group decide

Pick times from a week view that already shows every calendar you have. Share a link that closes after one booking, or a poll everyone can vote on.

One-off links

Hand-picked times, one link, done

The week grid overlays your real events from every account, so you only offer times that are free. The first person to pick a time books it and the link closes.

  • A week grid showing all your calendars
  • Click to pick times, or fill a day's free slots at once
  • Up to 40 times per link
  • Closes automatically once it's booked

Polls

Find a time that works for a group

Offer several options and let people vote without an account. When you've heard from everyone, book the winning time for the whole group.

  • Voters don't need an account
  • Show or hide votes from other voters
  • Book the winner for everyone in one step

Reserve times

Hold the options until someone chooses

Turn on reserve times and Tandem places neutral holds on your calendar for each option, so nothing else gets booked over them. Holds are removed once the link is booked, closed or deleted.

  • Optional holds on the account's primary calendar
  • Holds are neutral placeholders
  • Released automatically when one time is booked

How it works

Three steps

  1. Step 1: Pick times

Choose slots on a week grid that shows all your calendars.

  2. Step 2: Share the link

Send a one-off link or a poll, with holds if you want them.

  3. Step 3: Book it

The first pick books a one-off; for a poll, you book the winner.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a one-off link and a poll?
A one-off link is booked by the first person to choose a time, then it closes. A poll collects votes from several people, and you book the winning time.
What happens to the holds?
With reserve times on, Tandem puts a hold on your calendar for each offered time. They're removed when the link is booked, closed or deleted.
Do voters need an account?
No. Anyone with the link can vote or book.
How many times can I offer?
Up to 40 per link.
