Fractional executives and consultants

Every client gets the right calendar. You get one.

Fractional work means a Workspace account per client. Tandem connects them all, books each client into their own calendar, and shows the others a simple Busy block.

A day in the life

Three clients, one Thursday

Jordan is a fractional CFO for two companies, Northwind and a fictional startup called Lumen, and runs a small advisory practice. Each client issued Jordan a Google Workspace account.

Illustrative example. Jordan and Lumen are fictional, and Northwind is our example client. This is an illustration, not a testimonial.

  1. 9:00

Northwind's leadership meeting is on Jordan's Northwind calendar. Tandem copies it to the Lumen and practice calendars as Busy.

  2. 10:15

Lumen's CEO books a budget review through Jordan's page. The event type books into the Lumen calendar, and only slots free on all three accounts are offered.

  3. 13:00

A Northwind manager tries to schedule over lunch. The time already shows Busy, so they choose another slot.

  4. 17:30

Jordan checks tomorrow in Tandem's agenda: every client in one list, each in its own colour.

How Tandem helps

Built for fractional executives and consultants

Right calendar

Clients book straight into their own calendar

Group event types by client on your booking page. A Lumen meeting lands on your Lumen calendar with a Google Meet link, while availability is checked across all your accounts.

  • Event types grouped by account
  • One-on-one and group events
  • Fresh Google free/busy check before every booking

Busy, not why

Each client sees your time, not your other clients

Cross-posting copies a meeting from one client account to the others as Busy. Nobody double-books you, and nobody learns who else you work with.

  • Busy or a neutral placeholder per client pair
  • Skip free, all-day and declined events
  • Remove all copies by switching the rule off

One day, one list

All your clients in one agenda

Stop switching between Workspace accounts to plan your day. Tandem merges them and flags clashes that span two clients.

  • Each account in its own colour
  • Duplicate invites merged into one
  • Sync every 10 minutes

Hours per client

Separate schedules for separate engagements

Give each engagement its own availability: two mornings for one client, afternoons for another, with date overrides when a week changes.

  • Named schedules
  • Several ranges per day
  • Time zone per schedule

Recommended setup

How to set it up

A setup that suits a portfolio of clients:

  • Connect each client's Workspace account plus your own
  • Cross-post between every client pair as Busy
  • Create one availability schedule per engagement
  • Group event types by client, each booking into that client's calendar
  • Turn off colleagues' shared calendars so only your own count

Some of these, like cross-posting rules and more than two accounts, are on Pro. Join during the beta and get Pro free for at least six months. Compare plans

Questions

Will a client's admin see my other clients?
Not through Tandem if you cross-post as Busy. The copy carries the time only. What the original calendar shows is still up to that account's own sharing settings.
How many client accounts can I connect?
Two on the free plan, unlimited on Pro. During the beta, Pro is free for at least six months.
Can I use Zoom instead of Google Meet?
Bookings include a Google Meet link today. Zoom is coming soon.
What if a client uses Outlook?
Tandem connects Google accounts only for now. Microsoft / Outlook calendars are coming soon.

One schedule across every account you work in.

Free to start. Connect your Google accounts in a couple of minutes.
